Tulsa

The JA Experiential Learning Lab is poised to become a pivotal educational resource for urban and rural Oklahoma students, providing an immersive environment where they can gain invaluable skills and practical knowledge essential for their future success. Tulsa’s current JA BizTown facility will be upgraded to reach more students and school districts than ever before. This program in Tulsa is currently at max capacity, operating 36 weeks during the school year. Additionally, the facility will serve as a permanent home for JA Finance Park, enabling students to develop critical financial skills through interactive, real-life simulations. JA of Oklahoma will also create the JA Innovation Center inside the facility. This area will be a flexible learning space where students will develop critical skills to excel in a 21st century career.

JA of Oklahoma will be adding an additional 5,500 square feet of space to their existing building located just west of Highway 169 and 41st street. The building and land are owned by JA of Oklahoma, which was originally constructed in 2005. Over the last 20 years, this facility has seen more than 200,000 students come through it’s doors.

This expansion will allow JA of Oklahoma - Tulsa to double student capacity in both JA BizTown and JA Finance Park.

This campaign covers the renovation of Junior Achievement of Oklahoma’s new homes as well as funds for expanded operational costs. The name Building Tomorrows with Boundless Possibilities is the antidotal title of our campaign.
